Eileen Beard

Eileen Beard is a television writer, playwright and author based in Los Angeles, California. Recently, she advanced to the second round of the 2012 Austin Film Festival Teleplay Competition. Her history plays have been performed at the Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas and her essays have been featured in the award-winning anthology, Mug of Woe: Tales to Make You Realize Your Life is Awesome, and a follow-up collection, Woe of the Road. When she's not writing, Eileen is usually watching TV. (It's research!)
